(Manga) Misha is a gentle spirit who always wants to be helpful but unfortunately causes more damage than anything good. She is older than what she seems since when she speaks she always speaks like a child. Misha has a very tragic past. Long ago she met Kotaroh who is the uncle of Kotarou. Misha liked Kotaroh so much that she would visit him every single night speaking formal Japanese which would annoy him so she started to speak as a child instead. She was punished for visiting with Kotaroh and forced to agree not to ever see him again. When Kotaroh found out he was very upset and didnt want to be alone again and thought if he killed himself that some how he could be with Misha again. Misha was blammed for his death and imprisoned for many years in a prison full of thorns. Finally one day Kotaroh reincarnated himself into Kotarou. Misha was granted permission to live near and "help" him. Kotarou has no recollection to ever being Kotaroh which is why he doesnt believe that Misha is an angel until she shows him her wings.

Kotarou is a reasonably intelligent child who is overly depressed. His depression comes from the death of his mother. He loses self-esteem and faith in himself. closes his heart out to others growing with anger. He falls in love with both Misha and Shia, but eventually has to give the both of them up. Kptarou has a little demon blood in him from his mother, which gave him the ability to see demons and angels. His final wish from Misha is to lose this ability so he can live a normal life without her help and learn how to be happy on his own.

Ten-chan is the male idol in the school. Every girl likes him and every boy wants to be like him. He's great at sports and just plain looks good for his age. Not only is he good at sports but he is also great at keeping his grades high. The sad thing in his life is that he doesnt have enough money to attend the school the next year, even though his mother works hard and he also has a part time job. He raised almost enough money but was rejected and had to go to his second choice of schools without any of his friends.

Koboshi is a very happy person who is highly in love with Kotarou. Every day she tries to impress and make him happy. She even goes so far as to learn how to make him apple pies but sadly the pie falls on his head before he could even taste it. She wears kiddy cat ears ontop of her head. Near the end of the manga she grows up a little, loses the cat ears and stops making Kotarou the main person in her life.

Shia was friends with Taro who is Kotarou's grandfather at the age of six. She was adopted by a family as a small child when she was abandoned and named Shima. As a child she caused bad luck everywhere that she went, it took Taro some time to confence Shia that she wasnt a demon or cursed even though she really is a demon

Sasha is Misha's older sister. She is very strict and harsh. She pushes Misha into concerntrating on her studies versus worring over Kotarou. This is because she knows what will happen to Misha if she fails her examination again. Sasha also holds a grudge against Kotarou for ruining Misha's reputation. She tries hard to break the two of them apart since she is worried that her sister will fail and never be a full angel like she should be.
